having issues navigating wordpress personal website with jaw

I am trying to help a friend use wordpress and they have a PC using Jaws. I am
on a Mac with voice over, they can't find the same links and things I can.
We can figured out how to get to the dash board so we can change the
homepage static page...
and maybe more later...

any ideas?

To many factors to answer this question with the information you gave.
It could be user arror to equipment and setup.
